Job Description
Financial Service Provider seeks a Managing Director. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical individual with Business acumen and experience training and developing sales professionals.
Role Responsibilities
- Direct and control the work and resources of the company and ensure the recruitment and retention of the required numbers and types of well-motivated, trained and developed staff to ensure that it achieves its mission and objectives.
- Prepare a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Chairperson and members of the board, to keep them aware of developments within the industry and ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the company’s mission and objectives and to comply with all relevant statutory and other regulations.
- Monitor daily activities of sales team to ensure that each Sales representative is properly representing company, policies, prices, merchandise, and services within the guidelines.
- Conduct regular reviews to discuss inventory and relevant funeral products.
- Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
Requirements
- Relevant Sales/Marketing qualification
- RE1 and RE5 qualifications (advantageous)
- 5+ years of experience in selling of short-term and long-term insurance products
- Proven track record of positive sales performance
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in coaching and developing staff
