Job Description

Job purpose:

Build strong relationships with internal clients to gain a better understanding of the companies HR needs and requirements. Manage the Human Resources and IR functions for the relevant business units.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with Line Managers
  • Provide support and assistance to employees.

Recruitment

  • Liaise with Line Manager regarding recruitment requirements.
  • Employee on-boarding and induction

Industrial Relations

  • Give full HR support and tools to Line Managers in order to manage staff relations effectively.
  • Represent the company at CCMA.

 

Performance Management

  • Provide support to Line Managers regarding the performance principles and implementation of the policy.

Reporting

  • Provide Line Managers with necessary reports.
  • Statutory Reporting

Administration.

  • Perform all the HR related administrative tasks.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
  • Strong IR Experience.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of VIP.
  • HR Experience in a Call Centre environment advantageous.
