Job Description

To be responsible for the management, maintenance and co-ordination of all major aspects associated with technology within the hospital.

Detailed description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

  • Procurement of medical equipment.
  • Compiling and maintenance of asset register.
  • Management of budgets.
  • Perform acceptance testing and evaluation.
  • Conduct staff training.
  • Maintain high professional standards.
  • Support National strategic initiatives and contribute to growth.

 

Job requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Diploma in Clinical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering(light current or higher)
  • Minimum of 6 years relevant Clinical Engineering experience in a hospital environment.
  • Fully bilingual with good communication skills
  • Preference will be given to EE Candidates
