Job Description

Job brief

We are looking for non-experienced qualified Electricians to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure, for a Graduates Programme in Steelpoort Limpopo and surrounding areas. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions.

All successful candidates will be put in a YES 12 months Program with a stipend of R4020

Requirements

  • 18 – 28 years old
  • Must reside in Steelpoort and/surrounding areas
  • Must have never completed a YES Programme before.

Technical Skills.

  • Installing and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and devices.
  • Using and maintaining hand and power tools.
  • Willing to work at heights.
  • Repairing wiring systems.
  • Installing electrical conduits, cables, tubing.
  • Testing equipment, instruments, and systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
  • Quality assurance skills.

Qualifications required.

  • Electrical Trade test section 13 or equivalent
  • Competent B (advantage)
  • Minimum N3
