Job required
To be considered for these positions, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Risk Management and/or Banking; and
- Two to five years’ relevant working experience in the financial / banking / regulatory sector.
Additional requirements include:
- Knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards;
- Knowledge of business protocol; an understanding of business models applied by banks and financial and operating environment of banks;
- An understanding of the key issues facing banks;
- Knowledge of relevant risk management standards and practices;
- Knowledge of the Banks Act and its Regulations;
- Knowledge of, and experience in, the banking system, financial and banking products, regulations and risk models;
Knowledge of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision capital framework and the Basel Core Principles at a theoretical level
