Job Description

Purpose: The purpose of the role is to provide support services to the Clientele finance department and to meet monthly and yearly financial deadlines.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Daily payment processing.
  • Cash book processing.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Month-end reconciliations.

Qualification and Skill Requirements

  • BCom Accounting Degree.
  • Previous experience in a Finance environment is a necessity.
  • Must have experience in supplier reconciliations.
  • Softline Pastel experience would be an advantage.
  • Basic VAT knowledge is very important.

 

Behavioural Competencies

  • Good Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must have a passion for accurate and complete financial reporting.
