Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house as well as set up cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power, as well as how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature aids your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my home, which is filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep in one session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to spot pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.

The robotic vacuum’s maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any robot vacuum we have examined so far. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can set it and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn’t far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I’ve tested.

It’s a well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it’s expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on any type of floor and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It’s multifunctional and advanced. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. In addition, its mops aren’t as capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require changing regularly.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you’re on a smaller budget, I suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could find, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank’s heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. However, if you do opt for this feature, you’ll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock’s multi-function function is emptying the robot’s dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum’s powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is mapped by this device or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you’ve created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we’ve tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its ‘Normal’ pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech’s hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it’s not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There’s a good alternative: the app has an option to “clean up” at the end of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. It’s a nice feature and can help the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
