To develop a reliable strategy that will motivate older grownups to offer for research study, particularly those from variation populations, needs understanding factors of effective recruitment and creating innovative strategies to attend to recognized barriers to recruitment. CADC Recruitment Research

CADC faculty and scholars have advanced recruitment techniques in numerous methods through our projects hiring patients from health care settings and hiring individuals from communities. Methods of Building a Health Registry of Diverse Older Adults

One ingenious recruitment method is the of health registries. CADC faculty (Drs. Celia Kaplan, Tung Nguyen, and Leah Karliner) examined six publications by systematically reporting methodological aspects of developing and executing health computer system registries targeting older grownups. The kinds of computer system registries include usage of social media, and community organizations.
